Organic balsamic vinegar of Modena is a dark, concentrated, flavoursome vinegar produced in Italy. The name has the Protected Geographical Indication status. The vinegar is made from reduced grape must derived from the seven authorised vineyards (Lambrusco, Albana, Sangiovese, Ancelotta, Fortana, Trebbiano). The wine must is aged in oak barrels for a minimum of 3 years and then blended with organic wine vinegar to produce this exquisite Organic Balsamic Vinegar of Modena.
The flavour is intense and delicate with a sweet woody after taste.
