Our organic cold pressed sesame oil is pale yellow with a gentle, nutty aroma. The oil is extracted from sesame seeds by mechanical pressing, without the application of heat or chemicals. It is unbleached and unrefined which helps maintain vitamin E and unsaturated fatty acid levels.
Due to the presence of antioxidants sesamin and sesamol, it has a higher smoke point and can be used for deep-frying. Our organic cold pressed sesame oil is also great for marinades, dressings, stir fries, vinaigrettes and sauces. There are many health benefits attributed to Sesame oil due to the high levels of unsaturated fats and antioxidants such as oleic and linoleic acids.
