Our organic raw red maca powder is from a family run farm in Peru. It is dried naturally in the sun for 10-15 days and covered at night to avoid frost and rain. Before it is packed it is put through rigorous testing set by the organic board in Peru. Once in powder form it is packed in air tight bags and stored in cool dry conditions protected from light and moisture.
One serving (1 teaspoon – 5g) of organic red maca is high in fibre, copper and a source of Vitamin C. Both of these essential nutrients are needed to protect cells from oxidative stress and for normal function of the immune system.
How to take Maca: Start with one teaspoon daily and build up to 3tsp (15g). Maca is a rich nutrient dense powder, it is advised to increase servings slowly.
