This delightful dessert combines the rich nutrients from fresh fruit, sweet potato, nut milk and the powerful herbs turmeric and black pepper. This truly is guilt free and does as much good as it does to satisfy your sugar cravings.

Organic chia seed is popular for more than its unique texture. Chia is high in a range of nutrients including magnesium which is often referred to as natures tranquilliser. It is necessary for the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and electrolyte balance. It is also needed for normal nervous system and muscle function.
Recipe for 4 portions
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup Chia seeds
- 1 cup dairy free milk
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- 1/2 banana
- 1/2 steamed & frozen sweet potato
- 1/4 cup dairy free milk
- 1 tsp Forest Whole Food’s organic turmeric powder
- Pinch Forest Whole Food’s organic cracked black pepper
- 1 tsp maple syrup
Method:
- Bottom layer: Combine chia seeds, milk & maple syrup. Activate in the fridge for at least 2 hours (or prepare & leave overnight)
- Top layer: Blend the frozen banana, frozen sweet potato, milk, maple syrup, turmeric & black pepper together until silky smooth. Layer mixture on top of the chia base & serve immediately.
