There is nothing more satisfying than a rich sauce using tahini. This sauce gives your meal a wonderful creaminess and is perfect added to any plant-based/vegan recipe.
Getting addicted to using tahini is a ‘plant based problem’ similar to hummus dependence – it just tastes so good on everything!
This recipe is a definite one to try if you like experimenting with whole foods. Creating plant based versions of regular recipes can be a really exciting way of discovering new favourites for your kitchen.
This recipe uses tahini which is made from ground sesame seeds. These seeds have a really impressive range of nutrients and are a popular choice in plant based diets. One 30g serving is high in copper, selenium and a source of Thiamin (B1), Folate, Magnesium, Manganese and Zinc.
Be creative with toppings and add herbs and spices for extra flavour and nutrition.
